50% discount on Time & Mileage during the coding day for both Self Drive & Chauffeur Driven rentals.

MECHANICS :

1. Promotion is open to all Self Drive and Chauffeur Driven rentals on all car groups booked within Metro Manila rental locations: Alabang, Mandaluyong (Central), NAIA and Mabuhay.
2. Rental must be pre-booked and prepaid at least 1 day before the actual rental date. However, same day reservation made during the coding day itself will be accepted. For Chauffeur Driven, payment may be cash or credit card. For Self Drive, credit card payment is required.
3. Vehicles can be used out-of-town or even within Metro Manila during window hours on selected areas as enforced by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
4. Valid for rentals from 2 days up to 6 days only which must cover the coding day itself. This EXCLUDES holidays. The 50% discount applies only on the vehicle’s coding day.
5. The discount offer in this promotion shall cover the published rates only.
6. Parking and toll fees shall be the responsibility of the renter.
7. Vehicle is supplied with full tank of unleaded gasoline which is refilled at the Renter’s expense upon return of the unit.
8. Vehicles are restricted for use on inter-islands, mountain trails, Bicol, Banaue Ifugao, Atimonan Quezon and flooded areas.
9. This offer cannot be availed in conjunction with other on-going Avis promotions.

Cebu Hosts 45th SEAMEO Council Conference

The Philippines through the Department of Education hosted the annual conference of ASEAN education ministers – the 45th SEAMEO Council Conference (SEAMEC) last January 26-29, 2010 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Cebu.

DepEd Region 7 being the host region handled the preparatory and the the event activities itself including the transport supply of the delegates. Such was entrusted to Avis Rent A Car (Phils.), the leading car rental company in the country for almost 38 years now. It provided high end cars for the foreign ministers, luxury vans for their entourage, compact cars and coasters to the other conference participants.
